Class 3QF

In 3R, we are taught by Mrs Fryirs, Miss Quinn and supported by Mrs Lawton.

We aim to work together to be the best we can be, showing respect, responsibility and resilience in all we put our minds to. 3QF have made a humongous jump up into KS2 and every day we are building our bank of knowledge in fun and exciting ways, showing how resilient we can be.

Throughout the upcoming year, we will be working hard on developing our presentation skills, including our handwriting. We will also be building upon our love of reading both fiction and non-fiction texts within our Talk for Writing lessons and whole class reading. These opportunities will help us develop our vocabulary and fluency in reading.

In 3QF, we will begin to prioritise learning our number knowledge and times tables as this will help us become more accurate within solving maths problems fluently. Weekly, we focus hard on arithmetic, problem solving and number knowledge. This is also reflected in homework which is always linked to our learning so we can share it at home with our grown-ups.

3QF love dojo, we earn dojos in abundance daily, we share important information on there and any exciting news we must share with you, including pictures of what goes on inside the classroom. Our weekly aim is to achieve higher than we did the week before.
