Year 3 Class

Welcome to Class 3P

In 3P, we are taught by Mrs Pashby and we are supported by Mrs Wood and Mrs Varley.

We are a fantastic team in 3P and always strive to work together to achieve our very best! We ensure we always show respect in our class by sharing our opinions and listening to others when they speak. Moving into KS2 is such a huge step and each day we are learning new things and showing resilience! Most importantly, we love coming to school and having lots of fun.

Throughout this year, we will be working hard to develop our handwriting. We are so enthusiastic about our Talk for Writing lessons. We enjoy a range of books both fiction and non-fiction linked to our learning areas which really helps to develop our vocabulary. It is important we are regularly reading to develop our fluency.

In 3P, we prioritise learning our times tables as this will allow for us to become quick and accurate when mentally solving maths problems. We work hard on our arithmetic, number bonds and problem-solving skills daily. Each week, we will have some homework linked to this so we can share our learning with grown-ups at home.

We like to use Class Dojo to keep parents informed about any valuable information and to share the exciting news and photos of we get up to inside the classroom. Each half term we will have a dojo goal to achieve to enable us to celebrate on the last day of each half term!
